Q. What do I need to get the golden CSF STOLE to wear for graduation? A. You need to become a Lifetime Member (Seal Bearer). Also, you must meet your four semester requirement by the first membership drive of senior year, due to the time needed to order the stoles. Senior year second semester drive is required. Q. What is a Lifetime Member? A. Lifetime Members have qualified for CSF four times, only counting their 10th, 11th and 12th grade years. At least one of those semesters must be 2nd semester senior year. Q. How do I get a 100% Membership Certificate and CORD? A. You need to be an Associate or Lifetime Member through all seven semesters of your high school career. Q. Can I join in my 9th grade year? A. You may join second semester as an “associate” member, which means that you would not be working towards earning Lifetime membership and Seal Bearer status. Q. Does CSF cost any money? A. You need to pay $5 dues every semester you are accepted. This money goes directly towards paying for awards. *Note: CSF member dues are usually $10. For the 2018-2019 school year, dues have been changed to $5. Q. Where do I pay? A. Pay Mrs. Treanor in the Student Center. Keep your receipt and staple it to your application. Q. What do I need to do to apply? A. Fill out an application. Submit this with a transcript from Aeries and receipt from the Student Center. Q. Do I need an official transcript? A. No. However, we would like to have a current transcript from Aeries student portal. Q. I have turned in an application and heard nothing. Does that mean I’ve been accepted? A. Your application is currently being reviewed. Please check the member list on the 'Resources' page to confirm your status. Q. How will I know if I’ve been accepted? A. Click on 'Resources.' Click on 'Membership.' You are accepted if there is an 'x' next to your name for the current semester. Q. What happens if I don’t pay my dues? A. You will be ineligible to apply for membership. If you need a fee waiver, please speak with Mr. Kleponis in Room 207. Q. Am I guaranteed acceptance if my grades are good enough? A. No one is guaranteed acceptance. All acceptances are subject to CSF guidelines. Q. When are applications available? A. Applications are available in the Student Center 1-2 weeks before the upcoming membership drive. Q. Do I get extra points for my AP and Honors courses? A. Each of the five (5) classes you are submitting on your application gets three (3) points for an “A” and one (1) point for a “B”. You may add one (1) point to classes that are AP or Honors, but you may only do this twice on an application.
